Graduate students work closely with faculty on research, and study a
range of communication issues, from humor in the workplace to
treatment of women on Japanese TV shows. Angela Abel (holding cup)
examined US, French and British news coverage of the French riots,
which she discussed with fellow grad student Courtney Hanson.
