The Department of Communication hires qualified, part-time instructors for Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer terms. Courses that typically draw part-time faculty include SP100 Introduction to Communication, SP220 Public Speaking, and SP399 Introduction to Public Relations.
Part-time instructors should have (at minimum) an earned master's degree or relevant terminal degree, and are invited to mail a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae or resume to the Department of Communication, Part-Time Faculty Coordinator, Portland State University, PO Box 751, Portland, Oregon 97207-0751.
